This Privacy Policy governs our policies and practices with regards to personally identifiable information and other data that is collected by Leapr ("Leapr," "Leapr Ltd", "we" or "us") in connection with the Leapr website ("Site") and Leapr application (“App”) which may collectively be referred to as “Services”. This Privacy Policy explains how our Services collect, use, protect, and disclose your information and usage data. Please note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of, or content on, third party services or other properties to which our Services may link, or into which our Services are embedded or incorporated.
By using our Services, you consent to the processing of your data by us as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended in the future. As used herein, "processing" means using or accessing information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, combining and disclosing information. Leapr is a global popularity index that uses proprietary algorithms to calculate users’ social popularity ranks against various peer groups and geographies based on information drawn from their social networking accounts.
While using Leapr, you are able to view your popularity rank against i) friends ii) users in your network, iii) users in your city, iv) users in your country, and v) global users. Additionally, you may view statistics and trends that pertain to your rank, as well as share your rank and invite others to join Leapr.
Your ranks across all peer groups and geographies are private and can only be viewed by you. However, should you top the Friends or Network groups, other users in the group will receive a push notification that you have taken the lead. We do not (and cannot) post anything to your social networks without your consent. Should you choose to share your rank, then only your Global rank will be shared to the platform of your choice.
To sign up and use Leapr you must provide us with the necessary information that we require to be able to provide you with our Services. The majority of this is collected from your public content across your connected networks, and includes information such as your public profile(s), basic information, and friends and followers lists. Additionally, we also require other information in order to provide you with a personalized experience. This includes information such as your timeline posts, work history, education history, and current city. If you choose not to provide all the necessary information, then some (or all) of the Leapr features may not be available to you.
The information we collect is used to i) populate your non-public profile, ii) include you in peer groups and geographies relevant to you, and iii) calculate your popularity ranks. We are a purely passive brand with no interest in using or exploiting user data in any other way than required for the calculation and presentation of our indices.
We only use the information you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. We use your information to provide you with access to (and use of) our Services, to help us improve the content and functionality of our Services and to better understand our users. If you contact us by email through our Services, we may keep a record of your contact information and correspondence, and may use your email address, and any information that you provide to us in your message, to respond to you.
